Responding to Behavior

Course ID  113707
Child Care Aware® of North Dakota

(800) 997-8515

Description

It is the job of young children to explore their world by testing behavioral boundaries. So even in an age-appropriate, dynamic, and fun environment, children will make undesirable choices. One of the most important goals in any early care and education setting is to help young children learn developmentally appropriate social norms and self-control. This course will help you understand how to redirect children to choices and behaviors that are acceptable and learn effective steps for addressing children in a positive way.
This online, instructor-led course includes weekly Virtual Peer Learning Group sessions and reading and writing assignments.
