This two-hour training is only for child care providers participating in the Heartland Child Nutrition food program.

On October 1, 2017, USDA's new meal patterns will go into effect. Be sure you know what is expected so you don't miss out on any reimbursement! Information will include new infant age categories; identifying whole grain-rich foods to meet daily requirements; recording fruits and vegetables as separate meal components; and much more.

By attending this training, Heartland providers will also fulfill their annual USDA required food program training with a review of key program policies and civil rights obligations.
